It
is time to practice the BMA application step of the needs analysis. Identify the most appropriate placement of
the following athletes on the biomotor abilities triangle.

If you
are not familiar with the sport-specific needs for a specific athlete, refer to table 1.2
(on page 13 of your text) before attempting this problem. Also, it may help to review and study figures
1.3 (page 8) and 1.4 (page 9) along with the related text.

Select the letter or number(s)
(no more than 2) that would best fit the primary needs of the athlete. For example, if you think the primary needs
are halfway between force and speed, select the numbers that correspond with the appropriate circle on the triangle,
in this case 1 and 6. If the athlete requires landing force, enter 1.

When you choose 2 numbers, they should be adjacent to each other (for example, 4 and 5, but not 1 and 3). If
you think one of the major categories (F, E, or S) is of utmost importance with little need for the other two,
select the circles on either side of that component (for example, select 5 and 6 for speed).
