Kelly

The good news is that Sarla doesn't have to go to the gym. She can fit physical activity into her daily life.

I'd like you to look over her intake form again and see where in her busy life she might be able to fit in physical activity. Go ahead and type your ideas into the text box below.

  • Take the stairs instead of the elevator at work.
  • Walk to the train station instead of driving.
  • Get up and walk to coworkers' offices rather than using the telephone or e-mail.
  • Walk to the corner store instead of driving.
  • Don't park as close as possible to your destination. Park a little farther away and walk.
  • Get together with a coworker and try to arrange to walk during the lunch hour or before work.

Let me suggest something about finding time for exercise.
